Malta has some of the greatest diving accessible from the UK by short haul. Only 2 1/2 hours from London it can be much quicker and less stressful than a gridlocked drive down to Cornwall! This diving holiday has been designed specifically for customers with young families that will leave a fantastic experience imprinted in your memories forever. This holiday is ideal for families with children aged 8 to 16 (if you’re children are older then our normal holidays would probablty be more appealing).
Playing a strategic role for the British during the World War II there are many excellent wrecks to choose from as well as spectacular typography in these crystal clear azure waters. Malta offers a truly fantastic experience for children and adults, it is a great location to complete our PADI training courses as well as visiting some of the best dive sites in Europe.
We will spend 7 nights in the bustling harbour town of Sliema which has plenty of choice of excellent restaurants, bars and cafes. This will give you the chance to make friends and acquaintances with other families who share your interest for diving.
The itinerary gives you 7 nights at the 4* Windsor Hotel in Sliema which even has it’s own large outdoor pool and sun deck, indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room. Located on Malta’s prestigious Sliema Promenade 50m from the main promenade. The hotel offers sterling accommodation, two swimming pools, a restaurant and bar. Most rooms have a balcony, ensuite bathroom, satellite TV, mini bar and air conditioning. Although most evenings we will head out as a group to eat there is a really nice ‘Corner Restaurant’ in the hotel where breakfast is also served.
Scuba Diving
We’ll be diving with our friends at Diveshack who are a PADI 5* IDC Centre located 5 minutes from our hotel. Diving will generally take place in the morning which leaves the remainder of the day to soak up the sun or explore this fantastic island.
Most of the diving will be done from the shore so is ideal if you suffer from sea sickness. There will also be the opportunity to add on a diving excursion to Gozo and Comino. Children have the option for smaller and light-weight tanks and our professional instructors and guides can help them getting in and out of the water.
Marine life includes octopus, groupers, rays and if you’re really lucky an encounter with a pod of dolphins.
For families with 8-9 year olds we can run Bubblemakers and Seal Team Aqua Missions.

Non-divers
Non-divers are welcome and there will be plenty of things they can do while the divers are in the water.
TOTAL PRICE : £900pp
Price includes 7 nights hotel accommodation at the Windsor Hotel in a twin/double shared room on a B&B basis, 5 days shore diving, transfers to/from airport and return economy flights from London Gatwick.
We can request adjoining rooms and triple rooms are also available.
Dive Equipment
If you need to hire equipment then it is £75pp from us for the entire duration including BCD, regs, weight belt, mask, fins and boots. Does not include torch, SMB or dive computer.
Diving courses are available but extra charges will apply and include:
