Red Sea Liveaboard Itinerary – Dive Sites & Highlights

Join us on an unforgettable Red Sea diving adventure as we explore some of the region’s most iconic reefs and wrecks. Across six action-packed days, you’ll experience vibrant coral gardens, deep walls, thrilling wrecks, and unique marine life encounters. Here’s what awaits you:

Day One – Gota Abu Ramada (10m)

Known as “The Aquarium,” Gota Abu Ramada is the perfect introduction to Red Sea diving. At just 10 metres, this shallow reef teems with marine life, including schooling fusiliers, bannerfish, angelfish, and the occasional turtle. Its easy depth makes it ideal for acclimatisation, photography, and relaxed exploration.

Day Two

Panorama Reef (55m)

A spectacular offshore reef famed for its sheer drop-offs and breathtaking walls covered in soft corals and gorgonians. Strong currents often attract pelagic visitors such as barracuda, tuna, and reef sharks. Advanced divers will love the dramatic topography, while shallower plateaus offer plenty for recreational divers.

Salem Express (30m)

One of the most poignant wreck dives in the Red Sea, the Salem Express lies at around 30 metres. This passenger ferry tragically sank in 1991, and today it rests largely intact, making it both a moving and fascinating dive. Divers can explore the exterior, with its lifeboats, stern, and striking features now encrusted with coral and marine life.

Day Three

Thomas Canyon (55m)

Part of the world-famous Straits of Tiran, Thomas Canyon offers a thrilling dive with steep walls, colourful corals, and a dramatic fissure that descends into the depths. Advanced divers can venture into the canyon, where eagle rays and large schools of fish are often spotted.

Eel Garden (55m)

Located off Dahab, Eel Garden is best known for its sandy slope filled with thousands of garden eels swaying with the current. Descending to around 55 metres, the site also boasts impressive coral formations and occasional encounters with turtles, rays, and barracuda.

Day Four – SS Thistlegorm (30m, 2 dives)

Arguably the Red Sea’s most famous wreck, the SS Thistlegorm is a WWII British cargo ship lying at 30 metres. Its holds are packed with wartime relics including motorbikes, trucks, and even train carriages. Two dives allow time to explore both the exterior and interior, with endless opportunities for history buffs and underwater photographers alike.

Day Five – Rosalie Möller (50m)

Another WWII wreck, the Rosalie Möller lies deeper than the Thistlegorm at around 50 metres. Sunk just days apart, this coal ship is a hidden gem for experienced divers. Less crowded than the Thistlegorm, it’s covered in stunning coral growth and home to large groupers, jackfish, and glassfish clouds.

Day Six – Shabror Um Gamar (60m)

Your final day takes you to Shabror Um Gamar, a dramatic reef system with drop-offs plunging to 60 metres. The site is renowned for its pinnacles, caves, and the chance to encounter reef sharks, moray eels, and even dolphins. A fitting finale for divers seeking adventure and beauty combined.
