Travelling by liveaboard allows us to reach Raja Ampat’s finest and most remote dive sites, with multiple dives each day on vibrant reefs, dramatic pinnacles and manta cleaning stations. Expect encounters with reef sharks, turtles, vast schools of fish, and an extraordinary variety of macro life, all set against stunning hard and soft coral backdrops.

Indo Master Liveaboard – Raja Ampat

Launched in 2022, the 47-metre Indo Master is a stunning liveaboard built on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi using traditional ironwood and teak craftsmanship. Designed by divers for divers, every detail has been carefully considered to provide the ultimate Raja Ampat liveaboard diving experience.

Accommodating a maximum of 18 guests, Indo Master ensures plenty of space for relaxation and comfort. The vessel features 9 well-appointed cabins: 4 fixed doubles, 4 fixed twins, and 1 family suite with two double beds. All cabins are air-conditioned and include private ensuite bathrooms with hot water.

The expansive, air-conditioned saloon is perfect for meals, dive briefings, and socialising. It includes a cocktail bar, comfortable seating, charging stations, and a large flat-screen TV, making it an ideal base between dives as you explore the pristine waters of Raja Ampat and the Coral Triangle.

While we aim to showcase the best diving Raja Ampat has to offer, the specific sites visited will vary depending on the itinerary duration, weather, tides, currents, sea conditions, and the presence of other vessels. Safety and guest comfort are our top priorities, and alternative dive locations may be selected if conditions require.


Mansuar Island & Dampier Strait

Famous for fast drift dives and abundant big fish schools, the dive sites around Mansuar and the Dampier Strait offer something for every diver. Explore both thrilling current dives with large pelagics and calmer sites teeming with macro life. Your dive team will select the best sites daily based on conditions, ensuring optimal visibility and safety.

Manta Sandy

This world-renowned manta ray cleaning station features two large bommies at just 18 metres (60 ft). Here, divers can watch reef manta rays of various sizes and colours, including Raja Ampat’s distinctive all-black mantas. Even when manta activity is low, the reef is rich with macro life, including dragonets, pipefish, Bumphead parrotfish, and blacktip reef sharks.

Cape Kri

One of the most famous dive sites in the Dampier Strait, Cape Kri is celebrated for its astounding reef fish diversity. A world-record 374 species of fish have been recorded here in a single dive, including Napoleon wrasse, Scribbled filefish, Harlequin sweetlips, Bumphead parrotfish, batfish, and hawkfish. Expect schools of fusiliers, trevally, dogtooth tuna, and blacktip reef sharks.

Blue Magic

A finger-shaped reef dropping from 8 to 30 metres (26–98 ft), Blue Magic features hard and soft corals, black coral bushes, and abundant pelagic life. Grey reef sharks, mantas, and schooling jacks frequent this site, while macro enthusiasts can spot wobbegong sharks and Pontohi pygmy seahorses.

Sardine Reef

Named for its swarms of fusiliers, snappers, and sweetlips, Sardine Reef is packed with activity. Large schools of bumphead parrotfish, barracuda, and trevally feed on the nutrient-rich waters, while smaller creatures like rock-mover wrasse, dragonets, and jawfish add to the biodiversity.

Mioskon Island

A gentle slope down to 25 metres, Mioskon offers dense coral gardens and abundant reef life. Divers may spot pygmy seahorses, banded pipefish, flatworms, nudibranchs, and scorpionfish, alongside trevally, blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, barracuda, and giant moray eels.

Mike’s Point

With a mix of overhangs, crevices, and step-like drop-offs, Mike’s Point is perfect for exploring varied topography. When currents are mild, divers may encounter sweetlips, batfish, jacks, grey reef sharks, and wobbegongs. Eagles are often seen resting in the treetops as you approach the island.

Friwinbonda

A renowned night dive site, Friwinbonda features black coral bushes hosting lionfish, tiny pipefish, and skeleton shrimp, creating a fascinating nocturnal underwater display.

Fam & Yangeffo Islands

These Waigeo islands offer multiple dive site options, including:

  • Melissa’s Garden – Shallow, vibrant hard coral gardens teeming with damselfish, trevally, blacktip reef sharks, and wobbegong sharks.

  • Mayhem – Known for strong currents and action-packed diving, with large pelagics such as barracuda, mackerel, tuna, Napoleon wrasse, and Bumphead parrotfish.

  • Citrus Ridge – Named for the carpet of colorful soft corals, this site hosts pygmy seahorses, wobbegongs, jawfish, and pelagic schools of sharks and jacks.

Batanta Island

Batanta is a muck diving hotspot, perfect for spotting mimic octopus, wunderpus, dragonets, flasher wrasse, cuttlefish, and ornate ghost pipefish. Dive sites include Algae Patch I & II and Happy Ending, selected based on tides and weather.

Misool Islands – The Misool Marine Reserve

The islands surrounding Misool feature dramatic underwater scenery, including steep walls, gorgonian fans, and gentle slopes rich with hard and soft corals. Notable dive sites include:

  • Candy Store – A colorful reef with yellow sponges, sea whips, ghost pipefish, coral shrimps, barracuda, Napoleon wrasse, and batfish.

  • Andiamo – A two-island reef with walls, pinnacles, and plateaus, home to sardine and fusilier schools, reef octopus, wobbegongs, and barracuda.

  • Boo Windows – Iconic twin-rock formations with swim-throughs, soft coral gardens, pygmy seahorses, lionfish, and batfish.

  • Whale Rock – Drift dives over coral-covered slopes, spotting tiger cowries, hawkfish, and mushroom coral shrimp.

  • Nudi Rock – A ridge with walls and pinnacles hosting macro life, blacktip and whitetip sharks, barracuda, crocodile fish, and nudibranchs.

  • Kalig Potato Point – A top night dive site featuring a variety of nudibranch species.

  • Gorgonian Passage – Also known as Neptune’s Fans, this site is renowned for large sea fans sheltering pygmy seahorses and a variety of reef fish.

  • Barracuda Rock – Home to Big-Eye trevally, yellowtail and chevron barracuda, sweetlips, morays, decorator crabs, and pygmy seahorses.

  • Dunia Kecil (Small World) – A tiny island with steep walls, overhangs, and a shallow reef top. Highlights include pygmy seahorses, hawksbill turtles, batfish, barramundi cod, and juvenile cuttlefish.

Raja Ampat Liveaboard Itinerary – Indo Master

Day 1 – Embarkation (Sorong)
Board the Indo Master at Sorong Marina between 12:00–12:30. Enjoy welcome introductions, full vessel orientation, and safety briefings, followed by dinner.
No diving is scheduled on embarkation day.
All safety and dive briefings are conducted in English. If you or your group require translation or assistance, please inform us in advance.

Day 2 – Check Dive & Diving Begins
After breakfast, complete a check dive to familiarise yourself with your gear and the local waters. This is followed by up to three additional dives, allowing you to start exploring the incredible marine biodiversity of Raja Ampat.

Days 3–6 – Diving Raja Ampat
Your Cruise Manager will schedule up to four dives per day: three daytime dives and either a sunset or night dive. A typical day on board includes:

  • Light breakfast followed by briefing and Dive 1

  • Full breakfast, relaxation, then briefing and Dive 2

  • Lunch, rest, then briefing and Dive 3

  • Snacks and relaxation

  • Briefing for sunset or night dive

  • Dinner on board

Each dive day explores the best sites in North Raja Ampat and the Dampier Strait, offering vibrant coral gardens, pristine reefs, and encounters with manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, and a spectacular array of fish species.

Day Before Disembarkation – Final Dives
On your last full day aboard, enjoy two morning dives* before the Indo Master cruises back to Sorong, where it remains at anchor overnight.

Day 7 – Disembarkation (Sorong)
After breakfast on board, disembark and transfer to Sorong Airport no later than 10:00.

Guests are reminded to observe a 24-hour no-fly interval between their final dive and departure from Sorong.
