1. General Agreement
By submitting your diving equipment for servicing, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, safety, and a high standard of service.
2. Liability for Damage
We take the utmost care in handling your equipment. However, we are not responsible for any damage that occurs during transportation to or from our premises, or due to external factors beyond our control, including but not limited to environmental conditions, mishandling by third parties, or pre-existing faults.
3. Assessment and Additional Work
- If, during servicing, we discover that your equipment requires substantially more work than initially anticipated, we will contact you for authorisation before proceeding.
- For minor additional work or essential parts (typically under £20), we will proceed without prior approval, unless you have explicitly instructed us otherwise in writing.
4. Photographic Records
We strongly recommend that you take clear photographs of your equipment before bringing it in for servicing. This helps document its condition and can assist in resolving any disputes.
5. Collection and Storage
- Equipment must be collected within 30 days of notification that servicing is complete. After this period, a storage fee may apply.
- Uncollected items after 180 days may be disposed of or sold to recover costs, unless prior arrangements have been made.
6. Warranty and Guarantee
Servicing is carried out to the highest standards. We offer a 3 month guarantee on the future performance of equipment unless it was due to damage not caused by us.
7. Customer Responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that:
- Equipment is delivered in a reasonably clean condition.
- You provide accurate contact information.
- You inform us of any specific issues or concerns with the equipment.
