Easter treat for new divers

We had a great Easter weekend teaching some students the joys of being able to breath underwater.

On Saturday Andy headed up to Surrey to teach at the pool in St. Johns Beaumont. The four students took to the underwater really well and had a fab time practicing their new dive skills. Most of them will be joining us next weekend in Wraysbury for the open water dives.

On Sunday Andy, Stuart and myself went to Montrose House (see picture) in Richmond, South West London to do some more teaching. Andy taught a refresher and a couple of open water divers, and myself and Stuart taught a family of 3 their open water referral. Stuart looked after the 10 year old daughter who was a complete natural in the water while I took care of mum and dad. As a family they probably showed some of the best fin pivots we’ve seen on new divers for quite some time – Stuart even thought the mum might have already been an experienced diver.

Yesterday Melvin and Taff went for a cheeky fun dive around Wraysbury and checked out their new wreck!

We are looking forward to welcoming our new students and club members tonight at the pool in Soho.
