Mercers Lake – 2nd May 2026

Join us at Mercers Lake for the Scuba Party of the Year!

The fun starts at 9.30am where qualified divers can book a guided fun dive to explore Mercers Lake.

As well as diving we will also have several manufacturers there to allow you to demo the latest dive gear including dive computers, regulators, wings etc. You can join an underwater photography workshop so you can take better holiday snaps, as well as the chance to win lots of prizes in our raffle.

As well as Scuba Diving, in conjunction with our friends at Aquasports, you can also sign up to lots of other watersports too.

Enjoy ‘The View’ cafe, BBQ food, booze and the amazing views from the terrace.

Underwater Photography Workshop

With Caroline Robertson-Brown, Frogfish Photography

Join Caroline Brown-Robertson, one of the UK’s most well-known and respected underwater photographers, and co-owner of Frogfish photography, on an Underwater Photography workshop.

Caroline is a multi-award winning underwater photo journalist and author who will guide you on taking impressive underwater photos.

Starting with a land-based workshop giving you advice, hints & tips, she will then guide a dive in Mercers Lake allowing you to put your skills to practice. After the dive you can show her your photos and she will be happy to offer further guidance on improving further. You must have your own underwater camera / action camera.

Underwater Photography Competition

This competition is open to anyone who takes a photo in Mercers Lake on the day.

For a better chance of winning and to improve your skills, join one of the underwater photography workshops!

The winner will be selected by Caroline Roberston-Brown.

What Else is There To Do?

Non-divers are welcome and there is a lovely walk around the lake, especially if you want to bring your four legged friend!

As well as diving, eating & drinking and lots of fun, there is also our “famous” raffle where you can win some top prizes. The money raised goes to the Shark Trust helping shark conservation.
