Our World-Class Dive Training Facilities in London
Our lessons take place at the Marshall Street Leisure Centre in Soho, London, a premier facility perfect for scuba diving training. This state-of-the-art centre features an Art Deco design and a comfortable, controlled environment:
- 30m (100 feet) pool length gives ample space.
- 3m (10 feet) depth is ideal for both entry-level and advanced exercises.
- The pool is heated to 29°C (84.2°F) for comfortable year-round training.
- Our training centre is easily accessible from across London.
Times: We meet in the reception area of Marshall Street Leisure Centre at 7.00 pm and finish around 9.45 pm every Tuesday (except over Christmas).
We start a new Open Water scuba diving course each week as well as frequent trial dives and refreshers.
What to Expect from Our Scuba Diving Lessons
Each lesson at Oyster Diving is designed to help you gain hands-on skills and confidence in a comfortable environment.
During pool sessions, you’ll work closely with experienced instructors who will guide you through the basics of using dive equipment, from dive computers to buoyancy control devices. Lessons include skill-building exercises tailored to your level, allowing you to practise essential techniques at your own pace.
We offer e-learning options for PADI courses, so you can complete theory modules online and focus on practical skills during pool sessions, and have exclusive access to Mercers Lake where you can complete your open water dives if needed.

Travelling via Tube
You’ll be able to reach us easily via the London Underground. Just follow these directions from either Oxford Circus station or Piccadilly Circus station:
Directions from Oxford Street Tube Station
- Exit through the Argyll Street exit at the tube station
- Stroll down Argyll Street until you reach Great Marlborough Street
- Cross over the road and walk down Carnaby Street
- Turn left at Ganton Street to the end of the road
- Marshall Street Leisure Centre will be on your left
Directions from Piccadilly Circus Tube Stations
- Come out of the tube station at Exit 1
- Walk up Glasshouse Street
- Take the first road on the right – Sherwood Street
- When you reach Brewer Street, cross over the road and walk into Lower James Street
- Then walk through Golden Square until you reach Beak Street
- Turn right along Beak Street and Marshall Street is the first road on the left.
