The Hyatt Regency Sharm el Sheikh features an on-site dive centre operated by Red Sea Waterworld, part of Red Sea College who hold a PADI 'Excellence in Dive Centres Award' and offer a range of courses and packages for beginners and qualified divers.

Garden Reef Bay is home to one of the region's most renowned local dive sites, and the 'Middle Garden' can be accessed from the shore, an ideal spot for learners.

Guests can be collected from the hotel to enjoy a day on a boat visiting some of the Red Seas most famous and stunning dive sites.

You can benefit from Waterworlds 'Diamond Service', a luxury option for daily diving at affordable prices. Extra benefits include reduced numbers of guests on the boat, a delicious buffet lunch and a later pick up time to avoid the crowds.

Courses are available for all standards and ages from 8 years and above.

Intinerary

Check in: Explore the hotel, unpack and eat at the beach side restaurant.
Day 2: Check out dive – find your feet by doing a chilled dive along the house reef

Boat Dive: Tiran Island for leisurely drift dives and the famous aquarium.

Ras Mohammed: A trip to Sharm is complete without a trip to the national marine park. Home to Shark Reef & Yolanda, one of Cousteau’s top 10 dives of all time.

Thistlegorm: An early start to the world famous World War II of the Thistlegorm. Check out the motorbikes, trucks, steam engines and wellington boots from this sunken museum.

Chill out day: Depending on the time of your flight, why not spend a day by the pool or on the beach. If you are flying later the next day then you could do an early morning house reef dive before topping up the tan.

About 20 minutes.

Best Season

Sharm is an all year round destination. During April and May there is a small chance of whale sharks and manta rays. July and August can be very hot on land so either make sure you spend all day in the water or keep in the shade during the midday sun. Many people prefer September and October as the sea temperatures are still warm and the air temperature is very pleasant.
