Diving Holiday Itineraries
Horizon III offers different itineraries depending on the seasons in the Maldives. The Central Atolls focuses on manta rays, reef sharks and whale sharks.
Head to the south of the Maldives to see bigger sharks such as tigers and hammerheads. For shark diving enthusiasts, ask us for the 10-shark itineraries!
Do you need special equipment to dive the Maldives
It is a legal requirement to use a dive computer. You can rent them but it is better to have your own so that you are familiar with it and know how to use it. You can tips and our range of <a href=”https://oysterdivingshop.com/collections/dive-computers”>diving computers in our online store</a>.<br>It is also recommended to have a <a href=”https://oysterdivingshop.com/collections/accessories/products/beaver-drift-hook-line-and-pouch?_pos=1&_fid=5e8264fd2&_ss=c”>reef hook</a> for the channel dives. This will save lots of energy and burning through your air. Your boat crew can show you how to use it.
Is the diving hard?
To make the most of the trip you should really have your <a href=”https://oysterdiving.com/should-you-do-the-padi-advanced-open-water-course/”>Advanced open water</a> so you can explore the sharks and reefs at 30m. Experience in diving in currents is also important and good buoyancy control.
