You should be in a relatively good level of fitness as there are some currents on most dives. Guides and crew on the boat tend to be very helpful so are always happy to assist you in and out of the water.

The Red Sea is all year destination but the best times are October to December for Oceanic White Tip sharks, Manta Rays in Spring and Summer for hammerheads.

A buffet style meal is served and offers a selection of European and Arabian style meals. Vegetarians are catered for and special diets and allergy's can also be looked after.

The guides speak English and most of the crew speak some English or the international sign of hand gestures and smiles.
Overview
Launched in 2006, the Blue Horizon is one of the most well known Red Sea liveaboards, and comfortably sleeps up to 26 guests. M/Y Blue Horizon has been awarded the accolade of “Liveaboard of the Year” by both ‘Dive’ and ‘Diver’ magazines. She is fully equipped for technical diving and has the latest safety equipment.
The boat has 4 suites that feature king-size beds (and are suitable for divers with disabilities) and 9 twin rooms. All cabins have air-conditioning and en-suite facilities, a mini bar and personal entertainment system.
There are two indoor saloon areas. The main saloon and the indoor Sky Lounge are spacious and comfortable, each with a 42” plasma screen TV and entertainment system, air-conditioning and bar facilities. The Sky Lounge has comfy sofas and a bar, and can double as a second teaching area. Blue Horizon has 2 large sundecks and an open-air freshwater jacuzzi, perfect to relax in after a day’s diving.
