Xmas 2023 – Menton & Monaco

Palmes Beach
For Christmas, this year we will be heading to Menton, nicknamed the Pearl of France. Menton is located on the Mediterranean Sea at the Franco-Italian border. Menton is only a few minutes from the Principality of Monaco (with its palace and its casinos) and the Italian town of Ventimiglia.
Dates: 1-3rd December 2023. Some people are staying longer so you are welcome to do so.
Accommodation
IBIS Budget Hotel, Menton
The Ibis budget Menton is a comfortable and modern setting with pleasant rooms with walk-in showers. You can enjoy a large shaded terrace for breakfast and balconies with a sea view.

A short distance away is the Hotel Naploeon Menton with fitness room, pool gardens, lounge bar and elegant rooms.

EasyJet offer a direct flight to Nice. Our proposed flights are:

Diving and Entertainment
Friday night dinner near the hotel.
Non-divers are welcome but the plan for divers is to do 2 boat dives on Saturday in Monte Carlo including the underwater museum (weather permitting) aiming to finish early afternoon. We will then book dinner for Saturday night.
On Sunday we will look to leave the hotel around 11am and then get a minibus to Monaco and spend the day there. We will then head to the airport.
Price
The price of flights is subject to change, but our office staff paid £123.80 return with carry on luggage.
Ibis hotel is £60 per person per night based on a double / twin room including breakfast.
Transfers – depending on the numbers we will look to hire a mini-bus, or catch the train.
Diving – 100 Euros for 2 dives in Monte Carlo. Equipment hire 20 Euros if required.
Extras – meals, taxis etc on top
