Scuba Diving Facilities

Located at St. Catherines School in this picturesque part of Twickenham, this highly respected private school offers the ideal facilities in which to learn to scuba dive. As well as excellent classrooms with the latest teaching aides, it boasts one of the deepest pools in London. The large pool means that students have plenty of room to swim around in and practice their skills, the 3m deep end is the ideal place to fine tune your buoyancy and get the real sensation of scuba diving.

Students learning to dive start the pool session in the shallow end and as they grow more confident progressively make their way towards the deep end. The pool is constantly heated to a comfortable 30 degrees Celsius and we offer shortie wetsuits to fit most sizes.

Completing your PADI Diving Course

Through our Oyster Luxury Travel Centre you can book a holiday or long weekend to complete your scuba course in warm tropical waters where there is plenty to see. We also run regular group trips for students who wish to complete their course with the same instructor and meet new like-minded people.

St. Catherines is situated in Cross Deep, Twickenham close to the River Thames and is in close proximity to the A316 and A3 and is within easy walking distance from Twickenham railway station which has a regular service from London Waterloo, Richmond and Surrey.

By Train

A frequent service operates from London (Waterloo), Richmond and Surrey to Twickenham Station. When you come out of the train station turn left and walk down London Roadt. At the T-junction at the bottom of the turn right on to King Street to the next set of traffic lights. Turn left at the lights on Cross Deep and St. Catherines can be found on the right hand side.
