2020 Underwater Summer Games

The 2020 Underwater Summer Games will hopefully be opened by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove and fins off at 9am on 4th July at Paddle-Round-the-Pier, Europes largest FREE charity beach festival.
Fastest to set up their dive kit
- 20m tired diver tow
- 20m underwater sprint – no fins
- 40m surface sprint – with fins
- 20m underwater sprint – no fins
- Fastest buddy pair to swap kit underwater
- Underwater discus
- Underwater javelin
There will be 10 spaces available in each event and there is a no entry fee. You can enter more than one event if you like. We will ask all participants to make a voluntary contribution towards our nominated charity the Scuba Trust. As a participant, you are welcome to set up your own sponsorship page for the nominated charities from Paddle Around the Pier:
Setting Up Your Own Sponsorship is Really Simple
1. Go to the Paddle Round the Pier fundraising page
2. Contact your friends and family via e-mail and social media with a link to your sponsorship page
3. After the event just transfer the charity your money
The Shark Trust

Prize Fund
Oyster are currently contacting a number of suppliers from the goods they stock on our website www.oysterdivingshop.com to provide prizes for the winners of each competition. A list of the prizes will be posted here in due course. If you would like to donate a prize for our winners then please contact Mark Murphy.
Anyone who has a PADI open water or equivalent qualification and have dived in the last 12 months is free to enter.

Getting There
Catch the train to Hove which is on the direct line from London Victoria and takes roughly 1hr 15mins. When you get to the site just find us in the large PADI tent where we will take you to get changed and the pool.
