TheoryAt Oyster Diving, we believe learning the theory behind diving is as important as the environment within which you learn it. That’s why we've chosen to teach all of our open water diving theory classes online. This allows you to learn anywhere in the world with an internet connection, at a convenient time and location to suit you. The PADI e-learning system is designed so you can learn the theory at a relaxed pace in comfortable surroundings such as your home, office or even in bed. You will have the full support of our experienced PADI instructors if you have any questions. It normally takes 10 to 12 hours to complete the theory online depending on how many sessions you chose to do it over (does not work on iPad). Much of this time is spent watching entertaining and interesting video clips and answering multiple choice questions. Once you have completed the online theory simply print off your final scores and bring them along with you to the pool session. |

PoolThe 25m long heated pool is located in the grounds of the prestigeous St. Johns Beaumont school. The school was designed by John Francis Bentley, one of the most famous architects of his day and the architect of Westminster Cathedral in London. This quiet pool is located a short drive away from Staines, Egham, Windsor, Reading and Ascot. Pool sessions take place on a Saturday afternoon from 1-5pm. We then pop around the corner to the Runnymede Hotel for a celebratory drink and complete your log book. |

Open water dives are conducted over a weekend either near Windsor or Chepstow. The lakes are ideal for training purposes with purpose built training platforms and sunken wrecks such as planes, boats and cars. There is suprisingly plenty of life too, divers can often spot pike, roach, crayfish and trout. If you decide to come along to Chepstow then you can choose to stay in a heated Wig Wam for only £20 per night!
We also run regular group trips abroad for students who wish to complete their course with the same instructor and meet fun and like-minded people.
Alternatively our Travel Centre would be happy to quote you on a holiday or long weekend to complete your scuba course abroad.
The school is in close proximity to the M25 and A30 and is approximately 1 mile from Egham railway station which has a regular service from London Waterloo, Richmond, Surrey and Berkshire.
